1.) We have several hundred individuals who play an absolutely essential role in this ministry. As Prayer Warriors, they fight the battle that is needed in preparation for and in support of our upcoming events. Prayer Warriors receive requests and reports about our efforts, and they help us by spending their own time in prayer for the needs of the ministry. 2.) One of the fundamental ministry models that NEM is providing has to do with our focus on money. Unfortunately, money has become the focus of whether a ministry is going to take place on a diocesan or parish level. While those in authority are trying to be good stewards of God’s blessings, they can be tempted to make these decisions based primarily on whether there are sufficient funds instead of the call of God.

We know from our experience that God often calls us to step in faith when He calls us into action. The very inception of NEM was one of those calls into faith-filled actions. God called Dcn. Ralph to establish NEM with no money in the bank and trust that He would provide the needs when they were required. With this call came the paradigm shift to focus not on the money but on God’s providence for the needs of the ministry.

Every disciple of Christ is called to give all they have to God, and that includes their material wealth. We are all called to step in faith and give of our blessing to our home parish, and any other ministry that we find valuable.
